Ground-breaking ceremony for new production hall
Dülmen – The HUESKER Group is expanding its production space at the Dülmen site. The symbolic ground-breaking ceremony for the modern new hall was attended by the management, representatives of the town of Dülmen and the construction company Goldbeck from Münster.
HUESKER Synthetic GmbH has been growing continuously for many years. The globally active company is now investing in a new 5,000m² production hall at the "Im Brömken" production site in Dülmen. The aim of the new building is to consolidate the previously decentralized production and warehouse locations, make processes more efficient and facilitate future growth. In addition to the new building, the project also includes a comprehensive restructuring of the entire production at the Dülmen site. "We are preparing for the future. The new building will increase the existing production area from 7,500m² to a total of 12,500m²," says Heinz-Georg Richels, Technical Director at HUESKER. The ground-breaking ceremony on Tuesday, March 25 was attended by HUESKER management, representatives of the town of Dülmen, the construction company Goldbeck from Münster and local press representatives.
"We also see our future here at the Dülmen site as a high-performance partner for our customers, an innovative development driver, as well as a modern employer and training company."

Clear commitment to the location
"The acquisition of the land in Brömken in 2012 was an important building block in HUESKER's growth strategy. We are delighted that this strategy is paying off, and since the major investment in 2014, we have doubled our workforce at the Dülmen site. With the construction of the new hall, we are now taking the next step and are pleased that we have the opportunity to continue to grow sustainably here in Dülmen," explained HUESKER Managing Director Dr. F.- Hans Grandin during the ground-breaking ceremony. He sees the expansion of the production area not only as an investment in the future, but also as a clear commitment to the location and the region. In his speech, Dülmen's mayor Carsten Hövekamp also praised HUESKER's entrepreneurial commitment and was impressed by the bold decision to invest in their future, even in difficult times. Around 120 employees currently work at the HUESKER site in Dülmen. Further jobs are to be created in the future and the current expansion will also make this possible. "If everything goes according to plan, we will inaugurate and commission the new production hall at the beginning of next year," says Managing Director Dr. F.- Hans Grandin.

Sustainable and energy-efficient
When planning the new production hall, HUESKER relied above all on the many years of experience and expertise of its own engineers. In addition to more efficient production and internal logistics, the planners are also focusing on sustainable construction. "We attach great importance to energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies. For example, underfloor heating will be installed across the entire area, which we will operate with an air heat pump," explains Heinz-Georg Richels, Technical Manager at HUESKER and responsible for planning the new hall. In combination with the existing photovoltaic system with an output of around 660 kWp, part of the required heating energy can be generated in-house. Goldbeck GmbH from Münster, which has extensive experience in industrial and commercial construction, is the general contractor responsible for implementing the entire construction project.
Jobs with prospects
In addition to ultra-modern production areas, we also need competent and well-trained specialists. This is why HUESKER has been successfully training apprentices in a wide variety of areas for many years and recently received an award for being an exceptional employer.
"We are not only competing for customers and orders with our products and services, but also for the best employees," says CEO Grandin. It is therefore particularly important to offer employees not only optimal working conditions, but also long-term prospects. The expansion of the Dülmen production site is a real opportunity.
