Incomat® Pro - High-performance concrete mattress for extreme requirements

With Incomat Pro, HUESKER Synthetic is launching a technically optimised concrete mattress system for waterproofing and erosion protection under extreme conditions.

With a 50 kN/m tensile strength and a maximum filling height of 3.5 m the key data from the new Incomat Pro concrete mattress from HUESKER is impressive. Thanks to innovative material technology, the latest development in the established Incomat portfolio rates highly over conventional products with greater stability and performance. This makes Incomat Pro ideal for demanding and complex sealing and erosion protection measures in hydraulic engineering. Thanks to the unique webbing design, significantly increased tensile strength and reduced material usage, construction projects benefit from greater efficiency, safety and durability.

Technological premium product

At the heart of the new high-performance system is the enhanced design of the web ties. This not only enables unprecedented filling heights but also ensures even concrete distribution on uneven ground or underwater installations. "Thanks to innovative textile technology and a modified material composition, we were able to significantly improve our previous Incomat Standard concrete mattress once again. The filling height has been increased by 95 % and the tensile strength by as much as 100 %," explains Simon Ebbert, Business Development Hydraulic Engineering at HUESKER. Compared to other concrete mattresses, Incomat Pro also requires up to 35 % less material to cover one square metre of surface.

Strong product portfolio - diverse application options

The geosynthetic concrete mattress systems of the Incomat product family have been known for reliable erosion protection and successful surface sealing in hydraulic engineering since the 1960s. The HUESKER Group, based in Gescher, North Rhine-Westphalia, offers the right, customised solution for every requirement: from standard mattresses and special pipeline coatings to erosion protection systems that can be planted with vegetation. Depending on the existing geometry and other requirements, HUESKER identifies the appropriate Incomat products for each individual project. Two-sided industrial zip fasteners for the precise connection of the individual mattresses and the simple and efficient filling process also ensures rapid construction progress. In addition, the formwork required with conventional methods is no longer necessary.

Efficient and sustainable

Hydraulic engineering solutions with Incomat not only fulfil the highest technical requirements but also make an important contribution to more sustainable construction. Compared to conventional surface sealing and erosion protection measures using armour stones, the use of Incomat saves up to 90 % CO2. For particularly ecologically sensitive construction projects in water and pipeline construction, HUESKER also offers Incomat bio, a concrete mattress made from bio-based raw materials.
